William (Billy) Alton Carter II

William, known as Billy, was born on March 29th, 1937 in Plains, Georgia. Billy's father was James Earl Carter and his mother was Bessie Lillian Gordy. His maternal grandparents were James Jackson Gordy and Mary Ida Nicholson. He had a brother named Jimmy. He was the younger of the two children. He died from cancer, pancreatic, at the age of 51 on September 25th, 1988 in Plains, Georgia.
