Mary was born in 1695 in Orange, VA. Mary's father was John Madison Jr. and her mother was Isabella Minor (Todd).  Her paternal grandparents were John Maddison and Marie Ambrose; her maternal grandparents were John Minor and Isabel Taylor.  She had three brothers named Ambrose, John and Henry.  She died at the age of 81 on January 15th, 1776.
