    WILL of CHARITY DYSART (no date recorded- abt 1821): To my beloved sister-in-law Margaret Jack, widow of my brother Samuel Jack, deceased, of Clarke County, I give the proceeds from the sale of a negro woman named Jebber and her daughter Phillis, negro to be advertised and sol.

Grimes of Greene County, 287 acres of land in Washington County, plus 1,786 acres, plus 287 1/2 acres in Greene County, six lots in the town of Gaulphinton(?), Washington County, GA and other tracts of land, all sold and my just debts paid with residue divided.
    
    Appoint James H Nicholson and Thomas Wingfield Grimes executors. Wit.: J.G. Randle, William Moncrief, Daniel Coleman.
    
    CODICIL: by laws of the State of Georgia, it is impractable by will or otherwise to emancipate a certain negro woman named Phillis and in as much as I am desirous of rewarding her for faithfulness, I do hereby appoint my friends Thomas W. Grimes and James H. Nicholson trustees on behalf of said woman, Phillis, as her trustee and guardian to exercise the right of ownership over her so far as to protect and defend her from all unlawful acts or trespasses committed on her by other persons but giving....(incomplete)
