Mary, known as MariFran, was born on May 15th, 1924 in Waco, Texas and her baptism took place in First Baptist Church, Waco, TX.  MariFran's father was Terrell Brooks Pearson and her mother was Talula (Ludie) Mary Wood.  Her paternal grandparents were Elnathan Pratt Pearson and Mary Frances Williford; her maternal grandparents were James (J.P.) Pinckney Wood and Frances Marion Green.  She was an only child.  She died due to a cardiac arrest, Due to complications from COPD, at the age of 72 on May 1st, 1997 in Waco, Texas.
