Jean Baptiste was born on March 14th, 1659 in Ste-Famille, Île d'Orléans, Québec, Canada.  Jean Baptiste's father was Louis Noël Houde (dit Desrochers) and his mother was Madeleine Boucher.  His paternal grandparents were Noel Desrochers Houde and Anne Lefebvre; his maternal grandparents were Marin Boucher and Perinne Mallet.  He had a brother and a sister, named Claude Louis and Marie Angelique.  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 42 on March 29th, 1701 in St. Nicolas, PQ.  His burial was on March 30th, 1701 in St-Nicolas, Île d'Orléans, Québec, Canada.
