    The Families Poitiers du Buisson, Belleau, Lefebvre-Angers and many others were tied closely to the royal families of France. Many of them are very old French families and also my distant ancestors and I am trying to learn more about them.  It is not that I am enamored by their being royal or
    wealthy, but it is a fact that many times these families maintained and kept their genealogical family lines and it is much easier for we descendants to trace back very far into the past.
