Margaret was born in 1431 in Somerford, Booths, Cheshire, England.  Margaret's father was Thomas Swentenham and her mother was Alice de Overton.  Her paternal grandparents were Roger Swentenham and Cecelia de Gostre; her maternal grandfather was Lord Robert de Overton.  She was an only child.  She died about March 3rd, 1502.
