Ambrose I, known as The Immigrant, was born in 1633 in Devonshire, England and his baptism took place on October 12th, 1633 in Silverton Parish.  The Immigrant's father was Ambrose Lypscombe and his mother was Dorothy ?.  His paternal grandparents were Ambrose Lypscombe and Agnes ?.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 66 in 1699 in King & Queen Co., VA.
