Jean was born on August 3rd, 1551 in Chesnay, Eure-et-Loire, France.  Jean's father was Jacobus Jean Jacques and his mother was Corinne Bloedel.  His paternal grandparents were Jacob James and Sara VanHaestrecht; his maternal grandparents were Guillaume Bloedel and Jeanne Beauprez.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 91 on May 19th, 1643 in Chesnay, Eure-et-Loire, France.
