Simon I De Montfort

Simon I was born in 1025 in Montfort Amaury, Ile de France, France. Simon I 's father was Amaury II Count De Montfort and his mother was Bertrade De Gometz. His paternal grandparents were Guillaume de Hainault (Baron Montfort) and de Nogent. He was an only child. He died at the age of 62 in 1087. His burial was in Epernon, Normandy, France.
