Sibylle was born in 1035 in Barcelona, Spain.  Sibylle's father was Raimund (Ramon) (The Crooked) Berenger (Of Barcelona) and her mother was Gisela Of Lluca.  Her paternal grandparents were Raymond Borrell III and Ermensinde De Carcassonne; her maternal grandparents were Sunifredo II and Ermesenda Balsareny.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 39 in 1074.
