Sir Walter Beauchamp

Walter was born in 1243 in Elmley Castle, Worcestershire, England. Walter's father was Lord William Beauchamp and his mother was Isabel de Mauduit. He was an only child. He died at the age of 60 on February 16th, 1303. His burial was in Grey Friars, Smithfield, London, Middlesex.

He purchased from Reginald FitzHerbert a moiety of the manor of Alcester, county Warwick, making it one of his principle seats. Also called Walter de Beauchamp of Powick. He lived at Alcester, Warwickshire, England and at Powick, Worcestershire, England.
