Louis was born in 1650 in Daborel, Nantes, Bretagne, France.  Louis' father was Pierre Truchon and his mother was Perinne Sirouer (Siroulet).  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 79 in 1729 in Lachenaie, Quebec, Canada.
