Paul was born in 1645 in St Seurin Duzet, Saintes, Saintonge, France.  Paul's father was Simon Perrot (Perrault) and his mother was Marguerite Cerisier.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 67 on September 19th, 1712 in Sorel, Québec, Canada.
