Etienne was born in 1646 in St Etienne, Bacilly, Normandie, France.  Etienne's father was Francois Pellerin and his mother was Marie Charpentier.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 76 on November 17th, 1722 in Port Royal, Acadia, New France.
