Jean Joseph was born on April 16th, 1670 in Ste-Foy, Quebec, Quebec, Canada.  Jean Joseph's father was Simon Jean Chapacou and his mother was Marie Pacaud.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 22 on March 23rd, 1693 in Longueuil, Chambly, Quebec, Canada.
