Rene Mezeray dit was born in 1616 in Thury-Harcourt, Lisieux, Normandie, France.  Rene Mezeray dit's father was Jean Mezeray and his mother was Anne Olivier.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 79 on March 16th, 1695 in Neuville, PQ.
