Jean was born in 1620 in St-Georges, Demontaigue, Poitou, Vendée, France.  Jean's father was Jacques Nepveu and his mother was Marie Michelle ?.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 37 on September 2nd, 1657 in Quebec, Quebec, Quebec, Canada.
