Jean was born on August 18th, 1641 in Surgères, Aunis, France and his confirmation took place on April 11th, 1662 in Château-Richer, Montmorency, Québec, Canada conducted by Bishop François de Laval.1  Jean's father was Paul Morisset and his mother was Mathurine Guillois.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 57 on August 15th, 1699 in Ste-Famille, Île d'Orléans, Québec, Canada.  His burial was on August 16th, 1699 in Ste-Famille, Île d'Orléans, Québec, Canada.
