Jacques was born in 1639 in Chateau Giron, Rennes, Bretagne, France. Jacques' father was Jean Meneux and his mother was Jeanne Trochon.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 51 on December 19th, 1690 in Hotel Dieu, Quebec, Quebec, Canada.
