Nicolas was born in 1620 in Notre Dame, Alencon, Normandie, France.  Nicolas' father was Paul Forget (Froget) and his mother was Nicole Chevalier.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 60 on April 6th, 1680 in Repentigny, Lassomption, Quebec, Canada.
