Pierre was born in 1631 in Aytre, La Rochelle, Aunis, France.  Pierre's father was Pierre De La Voye and his mother was Elizabeth Vadois.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 77 on July 8th, 1708 in St Augustin, Portneuf, Quebec, Canada.
