Madeleine was born in 1643 in Port Royal, Acadia.  Madeleine's father was Jean Blanchard and her mother was Radegonde Lambert.  Her paternal grandfather is Guillaume Blanchard and her paternal grandmother was Huguette Gougeon.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 43 in 1686 in Port Royal, Acadia.
