Francois was born in 1641 in Chantrezac, Angoulème, Angoumois, France.  Francois' father was Jean Bayard (Banliac) and his mother was Francoise Petit.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 64 on December 1st, 1705 in Louiseville, Maskinonge, Quebec, Canada.
