To change the alignment of a paragraph:

1. Click anywhere in the paragraph you want to format.
2. On the Format menu, click Alignment, click a position.

or on the Rich Edit Toolbar, click the desired alignment button

• You can set the alignment for a new document by changing the format options before you begin to type.
