    p 229 - "James Wood - Jacobite captured at Preston. Transported from Liverpool to Virginia or Jamacia on Elizabeth & Anne (Master Edward Tafford) 29 June 1716. Landed York, VA - unindentured" Taken from State Papers (Colonial), p223 listed James Watson with all the same info.
    
    Have copies from London from KB 8/66 special oyer & terminer rolls & files, including informations & depositions Principal Defendants & Charges: John Sparling & many others, high treason, levying war against the king, Lancashire & Middlesex (1715 Jacobite rebellion) 2-3 Geo I
    
    Line 91 has James Wood born Monlook or Montook Co Stirling, Scotland.  Hiram (Abraham) Graham's Company of the Angus Regiment
    
    (Stirling County is north of a line between Glasgow & Edinburgh)
    
    Along with James Wood were two prisoners of noticeable name; Robert and Alexander Carr.
    
    The Wood, Michy (Michie), and Watson families were close. Their children intermarried, and they settled near each other.
