James Watson

James was born in 1690 in Argyleshire, Scotland. He died at the age of 88 in 1778 in Trinity Parish, Louisa Co., VA.

  If you look up James Watson on the IGI with a birthyear of from 1685-1695, you will find him christened on January 02, 1690 at Glamis. It is possible that John Wood also came from Glamis. If so, there was one christened on the 25th of either July or August 1689. Do you have an approximate birthyear for John Wood ? There is a researcher in London (Roger E. Nixon) whom I had research the records of the Scots captured at Preston.
