Margaret, known as Atheling, was born in 1042 in Wessex, England. She died at the age of 51 on November 16th, 1093 in Edinburgh Castle, Edinburgh, Mid-Lothian, Scotland.  Her burial was in Dunfermline, Fifeshire, Scotland.
