Duncan I      was born in 1013 in Atholl, Perthshire, Scotland.  Duncan I     's father was Crinan De Mormaer and his mother was Bethoc (Beatrix).  He was an only child.  He died due to murder / assassination, killed By Macbeth, at the age of 27 on August 14th, 1040 in Iona, Near Elgin, Scotland.
