Edmund was born on October 2nd, 1617 in London, Middlesex, England.  Edmund's father was Capt Edmund Norton Scarborough and his mother was Hannah Butler.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 53 on May 23rd, 1671 in Accomack, Virginia.
