William was born in 1505 in Prittlewell, Southminister, County Of Essex Squire, England.  William's father was Arthur Harris and his mother was Joanna Percy.  His paternal grandfather was John Harris; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Percy and Eleanor Harbottle.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 51 on September 16th, 1556 in Prittlewell, Southminister, County Of Essex Squire, England.  His burial was in Saint Leonard's Church, Southminster, England.
