Nahor

Nahor was born before 1916. Nahor's father was Terah . His paternal grandfather was Nahor . He had two brothers named Haran and Abraham. He was the oldest of the three children. He died in 2088.

General Notes
- The name Nahor is known from Babylonian inscriptions, and from the clay tablets of Mari, which render the name Nahur. Nahor settled in Haran, which was later to become known as the Town of Nahor. This appears in inscriptions from the reign of Ashurbanipal, as Nahuru, the city's later ruins being known to the Assyrians as til-Nahiri, the mound or hill of Nahor.
