Er

Er's father was Judah and his mother was BathShua. His paternal grandparents were Jacob (Israel) and Leah . He had four brothers named Onan, Shelah, Jokim and Joash. He had four half-brothers named Saraph, Jashubilehem, Perez and Zerah.

- Judah acquired a wife for Er his firstborn; her name was Tamar. (Genesis 38:7) But Er, Judah’s firstborn, was evil in the Lord’s sight, so the Lord killed him.
